The Chestertown Book Festival is the first and only book festival on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It is a celebration of authors, books and literary traditions of the Eastern Shore. The inaugural event will be a "gathering of authors" at various book stores, libraries, hotels, and inns.

Participating Organizations include, but not limited to, BOOKPLATE, CHESTER RIVER PRESS, CHESTERTOWN OLD BOOK COMPANY, KENT CO. PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND THE COMPLEAT BOOKSELLER.
